The Security Service of Ukraine has, in absentia, notified of suspicion against an unlawful judge and a so‑called passport officer who work for the occupying authorities on the left bank of Kherson Oblast.
This was reported on the social media pages of the Security Service of Ukraine’s Directorate in Kherson Oblast.
One of the suspects – a native of Crimea. In the autumn of 2024 he voluntarily assumed the position of the so‑called judge in the Skadovsk District Court of Kherson Oblast, illegally established by the occupiers.
According to the investigation, the man continues to issue illegal decisions on behalf of the Russian Federation, effectively ensuring the functioning of the occupation’s judicial system.
The other person involved in the case – a resident of Henichesk. She agreed to work in the occupation’s law enforcement bodies and became the so‑called temporary acting head of the passport and visa service division of the Henichesk District Police Department.
According to the SBU, the woman organized the work of subordinates, supervised the processing and issuance of Russian passports, certificates and registration documents to local residents, and also reported this to the occupation administration.
Both suspects are accused of collaborationist activity under part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. They may face up to 15 years of imprisonment.
