The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that the appearance of Lutsk entrepreneur Nataliya Borshchevych among suppliers of anti-drone nets for the Kherson region was not accidental.
He said this in an interview with MOST.
According to Prokudin, there was a main supplier, and the involvement of Nataliya Borshchevych could have been related to an attempt to avoid paying part of the taxes.
In response to a reporter’s question about whether the entrepreneur’s version that “she came, saw Kherson and sold the nets” is true, the head of the OVA replied:
“Of course not. There is a main supplier. Probably it was a trick to avoid paying some taxes. That’s probably how she ended up with that person”, — Prokudin said.
Recall that on September 12 the Department of Civil Protection and Defense Work of the KhODA signed a contract to purchase anti-drone nets from the Lutsk entrepreneur Nataliya Borshchevych.
As MOST journalists found out, besides the fact that as a sole proprietor she registered only at the end of July, not long ago Borshchevych was suspected of producing and distributing pornography. In 2020 a criminal case was even opened against her under Part 3 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
During a conversation with a MOST journalist, Nataliya Borshchevych confirmed that she is engaged in selling nets, and during her visit to Kherson she offered her services to people from KhODA. However, she refused to say to whom exactly she offered them.
Later the KhODA department terminated the agreement with her, citing reputational risks. And from its own sources MOST learned that Borshchevych was involved in a criminal case concerning possible overpayments in the procurement of anti-drone nets for the Kherson region.
