In the Kherson city territorial community, as a result of Russian armed aggression, nearly 73% of social infrastructure facilities have been destroyed or damaged.
This is stated in the Community’s Comprehensive Recovery Program until 2027, which was approved by the head of KhMVA, Yaroslav Shanko.
Seven facilities have been declared completely destroyed, which is 2.8% of the total. Among them are six educational institutions.
Another 176 social infrastructure facilities suffered damage to varying degrees. These include schools, kindergartens, medical and sports facilities, cultural institutions, and other objects important to the community.
The program notes that due to the scale of the destruction, the restoration of social infrastructure has been identified as one of the priority tasks for the Kherson community.
Recall that, as of December 2025, as a result of Russian armed aggression on the right bank of the Kherson region, there were 37.8 thousand facilities damaged or destroyed.
