The occupying authorities say that as of December 29 prices for major types of fuel on the left bank of Kherson Oblast have decreased.
This is reported by pro-Russian Telegram channels.
According to the published information, the current cost of fuel is:
- diesel fuel — 73.67 rubles per liter (–1.12 rubles);
- AI-95 gasoline — 76.03 rubles per liter (–1.60 rubles);
- AI-92 gasoline — 70.75 rubles per liter (–2.07 rubles);
- liquefied hydrocarbon gas — 35.34 rubles per liter (–0.01 rubles).
“The situation on the region’s fuel market remains stable: there is no fuel shortage, supplies are being carried out regularly and on a planned basis”, – the occupiers say.
In September 2025 the deputy occupation minister of the energy and fuel sector of Kherson Oblast, Tetyana Adamova, said that there is allegedly no shortage of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline in the region. According to her, the available reserves are sufficient to stably meet current needs, and she explained the rise in fuel prices by “nationwide federal market processes”.
Prior to this, the occupying authorities announced their intention to build six gas stations in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast.
Earlier we wrote that there are significant fuel supply problems on the left bank, which the occupying authorities are trying to hide.
However, at the beginning of August Russian media began writing about an increase in attacks by Ukrainian drones on oil refineries. Just since the beginning of last month the strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have led to the shutdown of at least four large enterprises and deprived the Russian economy of one-seventh of its oil refining capacity.
