In occupied Henichesk, journalist Anatoliy Kolomiiets has died.
This was reported by Valeriy Dolyna, chairman of the board of the Kherson regional organization of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine.
Anatoliy Kolomiiets died on November 12, 2025, at the age of 65.
He began his journalistic career as a correspondent for the district newspaper «Priazovska Pravda», later he headed the publication’s agricultural department. He later became one of the founders of the newspaper «Visnyk Priazov’ya» in Henichesk and its first editor. For many years he also worked in creative roles at the publication «Visnyk Priazov’ya Plus».
Before the full-scale Russian invasion, the journalist retired. During the occupation of Henichesk he remained in the city, refused to cooperate with the occupying authorities and, according to colleagues and acquaintances, maintained a pro-Ukrainian position.
Earlier it became known that in Novotroyitske, on the left bank of Kherson region journalists Liliya Kovalova and Lyudmyla Hryhorieva died.
