The Russians awarded the deputy head of the occupying Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in Kherson Oblast, Eldar Yusupov.
This was reported by pro-Russian media.
The Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” 2nd class was presented to Yusupov by the head of the Russian EMERCOM, Alexander Kurenkov.
During the ceremony, Kurenkov noted Yusupov’s “official merits” and his contribution to “ensuring the safety of citizens”, without specifying the concrete grounds for the award.
Eldar Yusupov is originally from Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russian Federation.
From 2005 to 2009 he served as an engineer in the Department for Supervision of Fire Safety in Transport of the State Fire Service Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations for Sverdlovsk Oblast
