The occupying authorities on the left bank of Kherson region will choose new illegal leaders of Nova Kakhovka and Kalanchak. For this, they have created a special selection commission.
The order to create the commission was signed by the so-called governor of Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo.
According to the illegal document, the commission will be responsible for selecting candidates for the positions of heads of occupation administrations and will act as the main filter for applicants.
It will accept documents, verify candidates’ personal data for authenticity and analyze their “compliance with Russian legislation”.
It should be noted that the occupiers appointed Russian serviceman Volodymyr Ohanesov as the temporary head of the city of Nova Kakhovka in July this year. He fought in Syria and took part in the occupation of Ukrainian territories after the start of the full-scale invasion. He was directly involved in the occupation of Kherson.
The Russians temporarily appointed Halyna Perelovych to govern Kalanchak. She came to the TOT of Kherson region from annexed Crimea.
