Former head of the Kherson Regional State Administration Andriy Hordeyev, who has been living in Ireland since 2023, is divorcing his wife Marina.
This became known from a court ruling that is publicly available on the Unified State Register of Court Decisions website.
A lawsuit to dissolve the marriage on behalf of Marina Hordeyeva was filed through an attorney to the Truskavets City Court of Lviv Oblast. However, the judge concluded that the application was drafted in violation of the requirements of procedural law.
In particular, the claim’s demands were not clearly formulated in the document. In this regard, the court left the lawsuit without action and gave five days to remedy the deficiencies.
If the requirements of the ruling are not fulfilled, the application will be considered not filed and will be returned to the applicant.
In 2023 Andriy Hordeyev allegedly went to Ireland for medical treatment. At that time MOST’s sources confirmed that the Hordeyev family moved to Dublin. There they registered as refugees. Hordeyev even tried to integrate into the local “legal circle”.
Judging by Andriy Hordeyev’s social media, he still lives in Ireland. In October he said that he completed legal courses at a college in the town of Cavan.
