A member of the Kherson judo club, Tymofiy Vydil, won at an international competition in Spain on December 13.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
He took first place at the Torremolinos City Open in the weight category up to 46 kilograms.
This is not his first success abroad. Two weeks earlier Tymofiy won a silver medal at the British School of Malaga Open tournament in Malaga – also in his weight category.
Tymofiy Vydil trains under the guidance of Oleksandr Hrynko at Children and Youth Physical Training Club No. 4.
Recall that the pupils of Children and Youth Physical Training Club No. 4 from the Kherson region took part in the Open Ukrainian Karate Cup in Odesa and won seven medals.
