The trainees of Youth Physical Training Club No. 4 from the Kherson region took part in the Open Ukrainian Karate Cup in Odesa and won seven medals.

The athletes competed in three disciplines: Kyokushin kumite, full-contact (WSF) and point kumite.

Danylo Kapur won a bronze medal. His coach – Oleksandr Platov.
High results were shown by Mykhailo Chernov’s trainees. Sofiya Fedyash won first place in the kumite division, Zakhar Kovbel won in the full-contact division. Vladyslav Dmytrenko took second place in the kumite division. Bronze medals in the kumite division were won by Myron Dudchenko, Nazar Kononenko and Vladyslav Kononenko.

In the adult competitions, the head of the kyokushin karate clubs, Mykhailo Chernov, participated. He won a silver medal in the full-contact division and gold in the kumite division.
Earlier we wrote that a wrestler from the Kherson region Oleksandr Bairov won a silver and a bronze medal at two competitions in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
