A new head has been appointed at the Kherson Regional Territorial Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Valeriy Tymoshenko, an Honored Doctor of Ukraine, became the director of the institution.
It is known that Valeriy Tymoshenko was born in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He received his medical education at the Dnipropetrovsk Medical Institute, after which he completed an internship at the Kherson Regional Hospital.
Since the early 1990s he has worked in medical institutions of the Kherson region, in particular as an otolaryngologist, head of a district polyclinic, and chief physician. From 2003 he headed the regional hospital for war veterans.
