Children who were returned from Russia, Belarus, or the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region to territory under Ukraine’s control will receive a one-time cash payment.
This decision was made during a meeting of the regional commission on the provision of one-time material assistance to children.
Thus, UAH 30,000 in assistance will be received by 155 children who were returned to territory under Ukraine’s control after the start of the full-scale invasion.
In total, the children will receive UAH 4.6 million in cash assistance. These payments will be made from the regional budget, according to a post by the Kherson Regional Military Administration (HOVA).
Earlier it was reported that from the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson region to territory under Ukraine’s control another group of children was returned. These are boys and girls aged 11 to 17.
