A wrestler from Kherson region, Oleksandr Bairov, won silver and bronze medals at two competitions in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

In Kryvyi Rih, the athlete took second place at the open memorial tournament in memory of Bohdan Suprun. He competed in the up to 71-kilogram weight category.
Later, Oleksandr Bairov competed in Dnipro, where at the open Dnipropetrovsk Oblast championship in freestyle wrestling among boys and girls under 17 he won a bronze medal.
