The occupation authorities in the left-bank part of Kherson region have adopted a decision to set the subsistence minimum for 2026.
The corresponding decree was approved by the occupation officials.
According to the document, the subsistence minimum is set at the following amounts:
- 18 371 rubles (≈ 231 USD) – per person;
- 20 025 rubles (≈ 252 USD) – for the working-age population;
- 15 799 rubles (≈ 199 USD) – for pensioners;
- 17 820 rubles (≈ 224 USD) – for children.
It should be noted that in the temporarily occupied territories (TOT) of Kherson region, occupation authorities systematically delay paying salaries to their employees.
Thus, in November it became known that workers of illegal budgetary institutions were owed about 160 million rubles.
In addition, there are ongoing problems with payments not only to employees of occupation authorities, but also to private enterprises controlled by the occupiers. In particular, recently we wrote that the traitor-deputy Vitaliy Bulyuk owed the employees of his company, which illegally operates in the temporarily occupied left-bank area of Kherson region, about 2.3 million rubles in wages.
