On December 6, in the Portuguese city of Porto, a tournament in memory of Daniel Narodytsky took place. The competition was attended by Pavlo Abalmaz, a pupil of the Kherson Youth Sports School for chess and checkers.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
The blitz chess tournament was held over nine rounds. Pavlo scored 6.5 points, took second place and gained 85 FIDE rating points.
The athlete was trained by coach Yevhen Novikov.
