About 50 cities in nearly 20 countries on six continents are joining an international wave of support for Kherson. Events are taking place from Norway to Japan, from South Africa to Australia, from Mexico to Bulgaria and the United States.
This is reported by American producer, writer and journalist Zarina Zabriski.
She initiated the global campaign “Save Kherson / Stop Human Safari”, which is taking place in various countries on December 13–14.

Zarina Zabriski urges Kherson residents and all those who care to join online — through a flash mob on social media. For this, it is suggested to post short videos and personal stories with the hashtags #SaveKherson and #StopHumanSafari.

Today solidarity events for Kherson are already taking place, including in London, Ottawa, Barcelona, Berlin and other cities worldwide.

Zabriski notes that on December 15 she plans to deliver the initiative group’s appeal to representatives of the U.S. government.
Reminder, Zarina Zabriski has been living in Kherson since 2023. She is the author of the documentary film “Kherson: Human Safari”. The film collects the entire tragic chronology of the city’s wartime history – from invasion and occupation to resistance, liberation, ecocide and the transition into a new horrific era of drone warfare.
The film’s premiere took place in June this year.
