Two Kherson inclusive projects became winners and finalists of the “Best Inclusive Practices of Ukraine – 2025” competition. The awards ceremony took place on December 10 in Odesa at the initiative of the organization “Sunny Children of Kherson Region”.

The aim of the competition is to popularize achievements in the field of social inclusion, the experience of overcoming social exclusion, as well as to initiate social platforms for exchanging experience, opportunities to promote new ideas, and current trends in the development of inclusive practices in Ukraine.
This year, 42 participants from 18 regions of Ukraine entered the final.
The project “Social Taxi” received a Third Degree Diploma; it is implemented by the Kherson City Military Administration, the Municipal Center of Social Services, and public organizations. The service provides transportation services for vulnerable groups of community residents.
The project “Inclusion Through the Eyes of Children” became a finalist of the competition; it is implemented by Kherson Gymnasium No. 16. The practice is aimed at building a culture of acceptance in the school environment through creative and digital tools.
Earlier we wrote that civil society organizations of Kherson Region are included in the list of regions where the participation of CSOs in community recovery is the highest in Ukraine.
