From the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region to territory under Ukrainian control, another group of children aged 4 to 16 was returned. An adult who has the status of a child deprived of parental care was evacuated with them.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Among those evacuated are a twelve-year-old boy and his family.
“They lived in constant fear because of regular searches, interrogations and threats from the occupiers. But the most terrifying were the Russian drone attacks on the civilian population — during one of these, a local boy was killed,” the post says.
Currently, everyone is safe and receiving necessary psychological, medical and social support.
The return took place as part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, “Bring Kids Back UA” and with the assistance of the organization “Save Ukraine”.
This year, 270 children have already been returned from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region.
Earlier we wrote that from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson Oblast it was possible to return two boys — 10 and 11 years old.
