During 2025, specialists of the State Audit Service conducted 95 procurement monitoring checks announced by institutions of the Kherson region, totaling UAH 4.14 billion.

Most often this year auditors inspected procurements organized by the Service for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure in the Kherson region (15 procurements), the state institution “Local Roads of Kherson Region” (8 procurements), the municipal enterprise “Khersonteploenergo” and the Capital Construction Department of the Kherson City Council (5 procurements each).
In most cases, violations occurred in procurements related to construction works and ongoing repairs.
According to the inspections, 64% of procurements, out of the total number of inspections carried out during the year, had violations. At the same time, only 7% of these violations were fully remedied.
Earlier it was reported that, according to the State Audit Service, several investigations were initiated based on the inspections, and two people have already been notified of suspicion. 23 officials were held accountable.
