The Kherson Region Police are investigating a war crime committed by Russian military personnel on the territory of the Azov-Syvash National Nature Park on the Biryuchyi Island spit.
This was reported by the investigative department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Kherson region.
According to the investigation, in the period from March to June 2022, unidentified Russian servicemen, while on the territory of the park, carried out illegal hunting of animals: deer, mouflons, Przewalski’s horses, wild boars, game birds and other representatives of the fauna that are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.

We remind that law enforcement officials are investigating a war crime committed by Russian military personnel on November 30, 2023, in the temporarily occupied village of Chornyanka in Kakhovka district. There, near the village club, they inflicted bodily injuries on a local resident, as a result of which he died.
