In occupied Oleshky, Halyna Sikorska, a teacher at the Oleshky Children’s Music School, poet and composer, was killed.
This was reported on the school’s page.
“Halyna Leonidivna — is a professional, a Teacher with a capital T. She remained in her native city, in her native Oleshky, and created here — despite all circumstances, despite the danger, despite the war. She always repeated that music has the power to heal the soul”, – they wrote there.
For Oleshky’s anniversary, Halyna Sikorska wrote a song that came to be used as the city’s anthem.
Earlier we wrote that in occupied Novotroyitske journalists Liliya Kovalova and Lyudmyla Hryhorieva died.
