On the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region on November 26 the Russians registered a new structure – “Trade Union of Social Sphere Workers”.
Information about the creation of the organization is contained in Russian registers.
According to these data, the trade union is registered in Novotroitskyi Raion, in the village Chumatskyi Shlyakh. On the day of registration it was headed by Andriy Sitnikov. The occupation registers contain no information about the organization’s composition, number of members, branches, employees, or licenses. There is also no information about any registered trademarks.
In particular, he was listed as the head and signatory of the public organization “Gorod Sevastopol”, the head of the enterprise “Krimbudpostach” and the founder of the NGO “Gardening Association “Zoryane”.
Overall, it is known that Sitnikov Andriy Viktorovych (born May 20, 1971), – a resident of Sevastopol, formerly a leading seaman of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, and a former deputy of the Verkhniosadivska village council.
He participated in the activities of the illegal armed formation «Блокпост «Фронтовое» and was actively involved in the Russian operation to annex Crimea, known as the «Crimean Spring». After that he repeatedly took part in illegal local elections in Sevastopol from the party «United Russia».
He was a co-founder and head of the organization «Blockpost Sevastopol», which was engaged in «strengthening law and order and security» and was liquidated in 2020.
In 2018 parents of pupils of the school in the village Verkhniosadove in Crimea complained that Sitnikov organized collections of money from children for membership in the youth organization «Blockpost Sevastopol», in which he also participated.
According to Sevastopol media, in 2000 Andriy Sitnikov was discharged from the Russian Black Sea Fleet due to drunkenness and leaving his post guarding a communications node unattended, which explains his tolerant attitude towards subordinates’ alcohol consumption in the workplace.
Ukrainian law enforcement notified him of a suspicion in absentia of creating and participating in militarized formations not provided for by the laws of Ukraine. In 2019 Sitnikov was put on the wanted list.
