The Kherson City Court has handed down a verdict against the director of the lyceum in Bilozerka, Nataliya Pankova, who agreed to cooperate with the occupying authorities.
This is stated in the court’s verdict.
According to investigators, during the occupation Pankova began to cooperate with the occupying administration and remained working at the occupied school.
In particular, she drew up certificates for the inventory of the lyceum’s property in order to transfer it to the register of the so-called Property Fund. She organized the placement of textbooks brought in from the Russian Federation and started the educational process according to Russian standards.
She also ordered the removal of Ukrainian symbols and the placement in the lyceum of a flag and other symbols of the Russian Federation, and organized the hiring of teachers and technical staff who agreed to cooperate with the occupying administration.
The court found Nataliya Pankova guilty of collaboration in absentia. She was sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all property.
