On the left bank of Kherson region, an occupation court will try a 56-year-old resident of the Velykolepetyska community, whom the occupiers accused of “public calls for activities aimed against the security of the state”.
This is reported by Russia-controlled media.
According to the occupying Investigative Committee, in 2023 and 2025 on her social media page the woman called for collecting funds for the Ukrainian military. For this she was charged under part 2 of article 280.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (public calls to carry out activities aimed against the security of the Russian Federation, committed using the information‑telecommunication network “Internet”).
It is claimed that investigators conducted “necessary examinations and collected evidence” which, in their opinion, confirm the defendant’s guilt. Under the cited article she may face imprisonment for a term of 3 to 6 years.
Earlier we wrote that the occupation court on the left bank of Kherson region handed down a verdict to a 26-year-old resident of Skadovsk, accusing him of “threats to use violence against a representative of the authorities”.
