From wounds sustained after the Russian shelling on November 29, Oleksandr Hudima — a driver of the municipal enterprise «Khersonkomuntransservice» — died. Medics fought for his life, but they were unable to save the man.
This was reported by the Kherson MVA.
Oleksandr had worked at the enterprise since the autumn of 2022, almost immediately after the de-occupation of the city. In a conversation with MOST he said that he had stayed in Kherson with his family throughout the occupation. And after the liberation of the city he had no intention of leaving.
He admitted then that it only became not frightening to go out on the routes later. When he was just starting to work – he was afraid, but over time he got used to it.
He began his work on route №17, which connected the Shumensky microdistrict with the suburban settlement of Antonivka. Then he moved to route №5.
He sustained the fatal wound on November 29 while at home.
