In Vinnytsia, they will bid farewell to the serviceman, a native of the Kherson region, Serhii Orlenko.

“Serhii Orlenko, call sign “Dok”, joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the summer of 2022. With the rank of sergeant he served as the senior combat medic of a company of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade. He was on the outskirts of Bakhmut, Vuhledar, in Chasiv Yar, near Kupiansk”, – the article says.
Serhii took his last battle near the village of Zahryzove in Izium district of Kharkiv region. He was 37 years old.
Serhii Orlenko was born in the Kherson region; after losing his parents he was raised with his brother by his grandmother in Vinnytsia region. He graduated from Vinnytsia Medical College, and then — medical university. Before the war he worked in the pharmaceutical sector.
“He was very worried that his younger daughter, who is two years old, would not remember him. He constantly talked about us at the war, dreamed of liberating his native Kherson region and taking the children to the sea in Ukrainian Crimea”, — the soldier’s wife said.
Serhii Orlenko will be buried in the Alley of Glory at the Sabarivske cemetery in Vinnytsia.
