In the Kakhovka district, the occupiers identified more than 190 children who do not attend Russian schools.
This was reported by the so‑called head of the temporarily occupied city of Kakhovka, Pavlo Filipchuk.
According to him, illegal social services and the police are already “processing” the families of these children.
“We handed all these lists over to the police. We held a meeting with the leadership. And the police methodically, step by step, are also working on these cases, visiting such families, taking measures. There are those who study remotely in Ukrainian schools. And that is the choice of their parents. The problem is large. It cannot be hushed up”, ― Filipchuk noted.
The occupiers claim that they have already established 31 cases of “violation of children’s right to education” under Russian laws. Protocols have been drawn up against the parents under Article 5.35 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation; they were fined and warned about the “consequences”.
Earlier we wrote that the Russians plan to continue integrating the educational institutions of the occupied territories of Ukraine, including Kherson region, into the Russian educational space for another three years.
