A resident of the Kherson region who, during the occupation, worked in the illegally created occupying Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Kherson region, was sentenced in absentia to 13 years in prison with confiscation of property.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office.
In addition, the woman is prohibited from holding positions in law enforcement agencies, state authorities and local self-government for 15 years.
According to the investigation, she received the pseudo-position of acting police officer of the commandant’s platoon of the Korabelne City Department. In this “position” she followed the instructions of the occupying leadership and facilitated the functioning of the punitive system of the aggressor state.
Recall, also in absentia charges were filed for voluntarily joining illegal authorities against a 41-year-old resident of Kherson region who, during the occupation, joined the party “United Russia” and received a “deputy mandate” in Oleshky.
