A 41-year-old resident of the Kherson region, who during the occupation joined the party “United Russia” and received a “deputy mandate” in Oleshky, was notified in absentia of suspicion of voluntarily joining illegal authorities.
The press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this.
According to the investigation, the man, while in occupied Oleshky, in July 2023 joined the ranks of the party “United Russia”. In September of the same year he received the mandate of the so-called Council of Deputies of the illegal Oleshky municipal district of the first convocation.
Later the man was included in the composition of the “permanent commission on budget issues, economy and investments” of the illegal council. In exercising his powers, the man constantly took part in public events in the occupied territory, created his own Telegram channel where he posted information regarding his activities and the work of the occupation administration.
Recall, investigators notified of suspicion the rector of the higher educational institution illegally created by the occupying authorities in Skadovsk, Nina Shashkova, who implemented Russian education standards there.
