Kherson educator Ivan Omelchuk became the winner of the national award “Teacher of the Year 2025” according to the Goncharenko Centre’s Teachers Award.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
Ivan Omelchuk is a teacher of theatrical disciplines and video filming techniques at the Tavriysky Lyceum. He is currently temporarily residing in Mykolaiv, but continues to represent the education of his native Kherson.
In the award voting the teacher received the most support — 48.3% of the votes.
