The occupiers allowed residents and organizations on the left bank of Kherson region to use already installed water, gas and electricity meters without verification.
This was reported by pro-Russian media.
Ukrainian verification documents are now reportedly valid until the end of the devices’ service life, not just until January 1, 2026, as was previously the case.
At the same time, after the Russians blew up the Kakhovka HPP, residents of the occupied parts of Kherson region have been deprived of regular access to water. In particular, the village of Liubymivka in Kakhovka district – completely without centralized water supply. Only one well operates here; the rest dried up completely already last year.
Recall that in mid-May 2025 information emerged that another increase in tariffs for “utilities” is expected in occupied Kherson region.
At the same time, in Kakhovka on the left bank of the region residents complain that they do not receive any communal services, yet are forced to pay for them in full.
