The illegal Kherson court sentenced Mykola Holodnyi, a resident of occupied Oleshky, to 12 years in a maximum-security penal colony on charges of espionage.
This was reported by the occupation prosecutor’s office of Kherson region.
Recall, in early November it became known that a Ukrainian was accused of espionage.
According to the occupiers, from September to October 2023 Mykola Holodnyi allegedly collected data on the deployment and movements of Russian military equipment and passed it to Ukrainian intelligence.
Now law enforcement agencies controlled by the Russian Federation have handed down his sentence.
Earlier it was reported that the occupiers imprisoned a resident of Chaplynka who tore down the Russian flag, tore it and threw it to the ground.
