In the so-called Nyzhniosirohozkyi district, located in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region, the occupation authorities have introduced a land tax.
The relevant document was published on the website of the illegal council of deputies.
The pseudo-decision will take effect on January 1, 2026. Both businesses and ordinary citizens who have land in permanent use or inherited possession are obliged to pay it.
Most agricultural lands, those under the housing stock, or for personal household use will pay 0.3% of their normative price, other lands – 1.5% of the normative price.
Exempted from paying the tax, according to the illegal decision, are the bodies of the so-called local self-government and state institutions controlled by the Russian Federation, “veterans and war heroes” and people with disabilities.
Earlier it was reported that a similar land tax was introduced in the territory of two so-called districts – Verkhnerohachytskyi and Chaplynskyi.
As a reminder, in the Kherson region the occupiers are taking land from those who do not have a Russian passport. It is also known that lands of the Kherson region are planned to be given to veterans of the so-called SVO.
