The Kherson City Court sentenced a citizen of Ukraine to nine years of imprisonment for collaborationist activities. The woman worked as the chief accountant in the occupation authorities in the Kherson region.
This was announced in the court’s verdict.
As the investigation established, the accused, in the period from July 1 to September 27, 2022, voluntarily held the position of chief accountant in the so-called “Department of Labor and Social Policy of Kherson Oblast.” From September 28, 2022, she continued working in the “Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of Kherson Oblast” – a body of the Russian occupation authorities.
The court considered the case under a special procedure in absentia, since the accused is in hiding. The verdict was rendered on November 14, 2025, based on numerous pieces of evidence, including documents, expert examinations, and testimony confirming her participation in the activities of the occupation administration.
The woman was found guilty and sentenced to nine years of imprisonment; 15 years of disqualification from holding positions in state bodies, public administration, and local self-government; and confiscation of property. The court also ordered the accused to pay 3,029.12 hryvnias for conducting the expert examination.
An appeal may be filed within 30 days to the Kherson Court of Appeal.
Recall that on November 14, 2025, the Kherson City Court in absentia found guilty of collaborationist activities 57-year-old Henichesk resident Natalia Halka.
