A video from the temporarily occupied Oleshky has appeared online, showing how the city is deteriorating under Russian occupation.
The footage shows – empty streets, neglected buildings, destroyed infrastructure and a complete absence of people.
Details in the video:
Recall, Russian forces occupied the city of Oleshky on March 17, 2022.
On April 24, 2022, the Russians stated that they were taking the city under their control.
According to the legal authorities, as of 2025, 3-4 thousand people live in Oleshky. In total, no more than 7 thousand people live in the Oleshky community. Mostly these are elderly and people with limited mobility who cannot leave, and those who care for them.
