President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky awarded state honors to two young residents of the Kherson region on World Children’s Day.
The distinction «Future of Ukraine» was awarded to Ivan Meletenko and Sineziy Horbovskyi.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Ivan Meletenko is a student of the Arkhanhelskyi Vocational Agrarian Lyceum. The young man showed exceptional courage during the evacuation of the population during the occupation of the right bank of the Kherson region. He helped save hundreds of people and animals.
Sineziy Horbovskyi is a student of the M.V. Lysenko Kyiv State Music Lyceum, a talented saxophonist from Henichesk. While leaving the occupied area he played Ukrainian melodies right at Russian checkpoints — it was a direct demonstration to the enemies that this land was, is, and will be Ukrainian. Now Sineziy is converting his talent into assistance for the Defense Forces, raising funds to support Ukraine’s defenders.
