The video spread by Russian resources about the alleged “deadly run-over by employees of the TCC in Kherson region of a cyclist” is quickly spreading across the Network. However, as it turned out, – it is nothing more than another element of the Kremlin’s information war against Ukrainians. A combination of signs — from technical details to weather conditions — indicates that we are facing a typical Russian lie intended once again to discredit Ukrainian institutions in the frontline region. In this piece we examine which inconsistencies reveal the fake and why the story described by the occupiers does not withstand any criticism.
“In the village of Kyselivka in Kherson region, human-hunters from the TCC ran over a man-cyclist who was riding with a child. In the style of an African safari the human-hunters staged a chase after civilians, during which they fell right under their wheels. As a result the man died on the spot, and the child died on the way to the hospital in Kherson,” – report the occupiers. The Russians accompany this information with a video recording that allegedly proves the truthfulness of the propagandistic “claims”.

What evidence there is that the Russians forged this video, and why this whole story is a lie – let’s figure it out together.
We managed to identify the make of the bicycle that allegedly was run over by the SUV. It is – PLATIN MD – 765. The corresponding model is considered a women’s model and is intended for use by female cyclists with a height from 130 centimeters. How two men at once, whom we see in the video, could fit on a PLATIN MD – 765 is a big question.

And most importantly, this bicycle model is sold exclusively on Russian services, in particular OZON, whose operation in Ukraine, as well as order delivery, of course, is currently unavailable. That is, a PLATIN MD – 765 could in no way appear on the right bank of Kherson region.
Determining the place and time of filming is quite difficult, but pay attention to the road on which the collision supposedly took place. It is completely dry.

The publication appeared on the Network during the day on November 19. On November 18 and 19 the right bank of Kherson region, including Kyselivka, where the tragedy supposedly occurred, was drenched by rain. Thus the video could not have been shot in this settlement on those days.

In turn, employees of the National Police “checked” the car’s license plate that allegedly ran over the cyclist, establishing that its owner prior to the start of the full-scale Russian invasion lived in Henichesk district of Kherson region. These territories are now occupied, and the car is likely located there.
“We also note that reports of a traffic accident with injured persons were not received by the Kherson police today”, – added the National Police.

The tendency to create fakes about TCC employees in Kherson region is typical of the Russians.
For example, in the summer of 2025 the local traitor Volodymyr Saldo claimed that representatives of the recruitment center shoot at Kherson residents on the streets and break down the doors of apartments and houses where men of conscription age may be present.
“The goal is clear — to try to complicate the process of staffing the Defense Forces of Ukraine. One of the main methods of the corresponding enemy propaganda – the discrediting of the Defense Forces by resorting to outright fakes. Another example of enemy propaganda – the circulated video of an alleged traffic accident with casualties involving a person in uniform. We officially report – this is a fake”, – said the Kherson regional TCC and SP.
