In the Kherson region, a veterans’ space for military personnel was opened in one of the feldsher-obstetric points.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
They also plan to open a rehabilitation department here for military personnel and civilians recovering from wounds. They will treat the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Rehabilitation will involve physicians of physical and rehabilitation medicine, physical therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, psychotherapists, and speech therapists, the report says.
At the moment this is the third veterans’ space opened in the Kherson region; the fourth space — in the Muzykivska community — is being prepared for opening soon.
Recall, approximately 5,000 people from privileged categories are registered in the Kherson region, most of them – war veterans. It is known that a social support program for war veterans operates in the region.
Also recently in Kherson they approved a support program for veterans and their families for 2025–2027. Implementing the program for the entire period requires 47,973,000 hryvnias.
