On three streets of Kherson Russian anti-personnel PFM-1 mines were found (“Petal”, – MOST).
This was reported on the Telegram of the Kherson City Military Administration.
According to them, the mining was recorded at the following locations: at the intersections of Chornomorska Street and Beryslavske Highway and the intersection of Kulyka and Zalaegerszeg streets. And also at 161 Universytetska Street.
The MVA noted that “petals” are almost imperceptible and can lie under fallen leaves or near the roadside.
Recall that on October 7 in the territory of the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson several cases of remote mining were recorded.
Note that Kherson Oblast is one of the most mined regions of Ukraine. According to experts, a certain part of the fields on the right bank of Kherson Oblast will be unsuitable for use even after demining.
Recall that as of September 2024, 64% of agricultural land on the right bank of Kherson Oblast has been demined — about 322 thousand hectares.
