Today the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited Kherson.
This was revealed by MOST sources and photos of the president from the city published on social media.
During the visit to Kherson on the occasion of the third anniversary of the city’s liberation from Russian occupiers, the President awarded state honors to military personnel and civilians.
“The most important thing is that there are people like this. I am convinced that this is the most important thing in Kherson. This is Kherson region, this is Ukraine. People who protect lives every day, who live for Ukraine and help, volunteer, save lives”, – reads Zelensky’s post.
Recall that the anniversary of Kherson’s liberation is traditionally commemorated on November 11 — the day when in 2022 Ukrainian forces entered the city after more than eight months of occupation.
