The Kherson Regional Military Administration has appointed new Honorary Ambassadors of the Kherson region.
The relevant order was signed by the acting head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Butriy.
The title «Honorary Ambassador of the Kherson Region» was awarded to the head of the analytical centre «Northern Europe Policy Centre» and executive director of the Association «Military Technology, Drone and Robotics Association (MilTech)» in Latvia, Artis Pabriks, and to military strategist, adviser to the Estonian company «Milrem Robotics», Martin Hemer.
As stated in the order, the honorary titles were conferred with the aim of developing international cooperation, establishing communication processes and optimizing measures for the implementation of joint projects with foreign cities in various sectors.
Recall that the first ambassadors of the Kherson region were designated in November 2024.
Ambassadors of Kherson may be citizens of Ukraine or foreigners, who have a historical or mental connection to Kherson, are excellent communicators, possess leadership qualities, and have an established authority at the national and international levels, etc.
The main tasks of persons honored with such a title are disseminating the ideas of the Kherson region’s investment opportunities at the national level and among foreign partners, contributing to the promotion of the Kherson region as «an investment-attractive, economically capable and business-oriented region of Europe», presenting the Kherson region in the field of international relations, etc.
