Kherson region ranks fourth from the bottom in the ranking of regions by average pension size — only 5 473 hryvnias.
This is reported by Opendatabot with reference to the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

For comparison, the average pension across the country is 6 400 hryvnias, while in the capital it reaches 8 848 hryvnias, which is 37% more than the national average.
In total, there are about 10.2 million pensioners in Ukraine, and one in four of them continues to work. Almost a third of pensioners receive only 3 340 hryvnias per month, and another 4% live on about 2 300 hryvnias.
The lowest pensions were recorded in Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia and Kherson regions.
It is noted that Ukrainian pensions remain among the lowest in Europe.
Earlier we wrote that Kherson was among the cities of Ukraine with the lowest average salary.
At the same time, among all regional military administrations of Ukraine the highest average salaries are received by employees of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
In particular, in September the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin and his deputies together earned over 970 thousand hryvnias.
