In Lviv, families of missing and captured Ukrainian soldiers from the battles for Krynky in Kherson region gathered.
This is reported by the publication Espreso.Zakhid.
On Saturday, October 18, in Lviv near the Taras Shevchenko monument, families of missing and captured Ukrainian soldiers in the battles for Krynky in Kherson region gathered for the action “Life: before and after”.
It is noted that the families have not stopped searching for their relatives, with whom they lost contact during the battles for Krynky and the adjacent territories on the left bank of Kherson region.
Participants of the action traditionally unfolded an installation of happy family photos from life “before”, which showed smiling families, family celebrations and pets.

The publication also reports that the head of the public organization “Krynky. The Way Home” Lidiya Rudenko, a mother of five who is searching for her husband, reminded the participants of the action about the unknown fate of thousands of fighters from the direction of the battles for Krynky.
Participants of the action are convinced that they will eventually be able to bring their relatives home, the publication’s materials say.
Recall that the battles for the village of Krynky in Kherson region on the left bank of the Dnipro continued during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The village was occupied by Russians on the first day of the invasion.
On October 14, 2023, Ukrainian forces landed in Krynky. At the end of June 2024, the Defense Forces of Ukraine withdrew from the settlement, but fights continued on nearby islands.
Also earlier MOST wrote that updated Google Maps showed new satellite images of the village of Krynky, where since 2023 battles had been taking place between Ukrainian forces and the Russian army.
