The Kherson City Court found former employee of the Kherson Tax Inspection Olha Ivlieva guilty of collaborationism for working for the occupying authorities.
The verdict is published on the website of the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
According to the investigation, after the start of the occupation of Kherson, Ivlieva voluntarily took a position in the illegally created Tax Service of the Kherson region, becoming the head of a department.
During the investigation, law enforcement officers found documents that confirm Ivlieva’s collaboration with the occupying authorities.
Also, one of the witnesses said that during the occupation he worked as a system administrator in the Treasury Department, which was located in the same building as the so-called Tax Service. According to him, he saw that Ivlieva was sitting alone in an office, and on the door there was a sign with the inscription “head of the tax service department”.
The court in absentia found Tetiana Ivlieva guilty under part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.
According to open sources, since 2016 Olha Ivleva worked as the chief state inspector of the department of material support and infrastructure development of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in the Kherson region, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
After a fine under the “corruption” administrative article, which also resulted in being entered into the Register of Corrupt Officials, she was dismissed in 2019 and sued for reinstatement.
