The National Council on Television and Radio Broadcasting announced a competition to obtain a license to broadcast in the MX-5 digital network in Kherson.
The decision was made on October 14, 2025.
As stated in the document, the decision was made after a notification from the electronic communications service provider – LLC “Zeobud” about the restoration of the technical capability to broadcast in Kherson.
According to the appendix, the list contains one program that will cover Kherson and the surrounding districts.
The National Council will provide additional information on the conditions for participation in the competition.
Recall that at the beginning of March 2022 the occupiers seized, and later — looted and effectively destroyed the office of the regional broadcaster Suspilne in Kherson. After the city’s liberation, its premises and buildings were repeatedly hit by Russian shelling.
Also, during their retreat from Kherson, Russian forces blew up the TV tower, destroyed one of the buildings and the transformer substation of the television center.
