Communal enterprise “Parks of Kherson” received 600 waste containers as part of one of the “quick-impact” projects with the involvement of international assistance.
The relevant order is posted on the Kherson MCA website.
The document states that the Kherson City Council accepted for use 600 waste containers with a capacity of 1100 liters, as well as an equal number of pedals for opening their lids.
The measure was carried out within the framework of the Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Project, implemented with the support of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
According to the order, the municipal enterprise “Parks of Kherson” has been designated as the usufructuary of the specified property for a period of 5 years.
This means that the enterprise will have full rights to use the transferred containers or even lease them, provided it undertakes to preserve their value and economic purpose.
The Emergency Recovery and Reconstruction Project is aimed at restoring Ukraine after the destruction. It includes “quick-impact” projects that rapidly address the most urgent problems, such as managing debris waste and installing energy-efficient solutions. Japan provides Ukraine with grants to implement this program, underscoring international support for the project.
