An athlete from Crimea registered a Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics in the temporarily occupied left-bank area of Kherson region.
As became known from Russian registries, 9 October in Skadovsk the so-called regional public organization “Federation of Rhythmic Gymnastics of Kherson Oblast” was registered.
The federation’s president is 20-year-old gymnast Anastasia Olenyuk from temporarily occupied Simferopol.
Judging by information in pro-Russian Crimean media, after the peninsula’s annexation Olenyuk repeatedly took part in Russian competitions. Currently in Simferopol she conducts individual rhythmic gymnastics training.
The founders of the so-called federation are listed as Anastasia Olenyuk herself, as well as four other persons who hold Russian citizenship – Andriy Bodnia, Mykhailo Vovchenko, Mykola Novikov and Danylo Horbatov.
