A Russian FPV drone attacked a UN humanitarian convoy near Bilozirka in the Kherson region; an Italian official was present.
This is reported by “European Pravda“.
Information about the injured person came from a statement by Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani
Tajani condemned the strike on a United Nations World Food Programme shipment and noted that among those accompanying it was an Italian official, who was not injured.
“Strikes on civilians, on hospitals, on humanitarian workers are unacceptable. Russia must cease the use of force and begin to act responsibly. I express solidarity with the UN and its staff and with the Ukrainian people”, – wrote the Italian foreign minister.
The attack was also condemned by the European Commissioner for Equality and Emergency Preparedness Aja Lyabib and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In the morning, the incident was reported by Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha, who called on partners to increase pressure on the aggressor country.
Earlier we wrote that trucks of the World Food Programme carrying food and other essential items came under attack by Russian FPV strikes, despite being properly marked; two vehicles caught fire. No people were injured.
