The Kherson City Court found former employee of the department of the Kherson City Council Olena Holovkova guilty of collaborationism; during the occupation she took a job at a pseudo-ministry.
The verdict was published on the website of the Unified State Register of Court Decisions.
As the investigation found, initially she took the position of head of the financial policy and state support department – chief accountant of state support, and after the reorganization of the occupation department into the so-called Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Kherson Region – she obtained the position of head of the department of accounting, financing and coordination of support for the agro-industrial complex.
Interviewed witnesses confirmed that in the ministry created by the occupiers Holovkova handled financial and accounting reporting, and also paid salaries to employees against signature.
The court in absentia found Olena Holovkova guilty under Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. She was sentenced to 9 years of imprisonment with confiscation of all her property.
It is known that before the full-scale invasion Holovkova worked as head of the investment projects department of the Strategic Development and Investment Directorate of the Department of Economy and Investments of the Kherson City Council.
On the eve of the de-occupation of the right bank of the Kherson region, she likely left for the left bank of the region.
