Law enforcement officers have notified the resident of Nova Kakhovka, Vitaliy Chumakov, of suspicion of collaborationism. The man conducted economic activity in cooperation with the occupation authorities in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
The investigation established that the man, as the general director of the illegally created company “Yug Neft”, concluded contracts with the occupation Novokakhovka city military-civilian administration for the supply of fuel and lubricants.

In particular, on April 7, 2023, he signed a contract for the amount of 488 thousand rubles, which was fully executed — the occupation administration received the fuel and made the payment through banking structures controlled by the Russian Federation.
Vitaliy Chumakov has been notified of suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Article 28, Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — collaborationist activity committed by prior agreement of a group of persons.
